Chung Say-Hun, Death, Taiping, 1906
Miss Chung Say Hun, aged 18, the second daughter of Mr Chung Ah Yong, of Taiping, died of typhoid fever on Tuesday. The poor young lady had nursed her younger brother during an attack of typhoid from which he is now recovering. Seventeen days ago she fell ill herself, and not till within the last few days was it realised that she had been infected and was suffering from the same dire disease as her brother.
