The wedding took place in Penang in the old Chinese style between Miss Khaw Phaik Saik, the third daughter of Mr. Khaw Joo Tok, J.P., -- who was lately honoured by the King of Siam with the Siamese title "Phra Silohabhumi Pitaks" -- and M.
