Yeoh Paik Tatt, death 10 December 1925, Penang

A telegram from our Penang correspondent announces the death of Mr. Yeoh Paik Tatt, J.P., merchant of Penang, at the age of fifty-three. The late Mr. Yeoh Paik Tatt was one of the pioneers of the establishment of Chinese import and export merchants and was a founder of the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce, President of the Chiense Town Hall, member of the Committee of the Penang Free School, and a prime mover in public matters. He died at none o'clock yesterday morning after a long illness. [The Singapore Free Press, 11 December 1925, Page 8]
