Tan Soo-Jin (Mrs.), death

The Late Mrs. Tan Soo Jin. The funeral of the late Mrs. Tan Soo Jin, wife of Mr. Tan Soo Jin, Municipal Commissioner, who, with her husband, counted so many friends in these parts, took place from Morning Side, River Valley Road, yesterday morning, and was largely attended. The hearse, in which the coffin reposed, was covered with wreathes, and with the long line of mourners and friends who walked immediately behind it, and still longer one of empty motor cars, made a most imposing cortege as it wended its way along River Valley Road to the cemetery at Alexandra Road. Among those who attended were the Hon. Mr. Song Ong Siang, Messrs. Tan Soo Bin, Tan Soo Guan, Tan Soo Lay, Tan Soo Bit, Tan Kheam Hock, Tan Chew Kim, S. K. Wong, Koh San Hin, Seah Eng Kiat, Seah Eng Tong, Gaw Kheh Kiam, Poh Cheng Tee, Koh Seck Tian, Seah Eng Koon, Tan Kwee Leang, Chew Cheng Yong, Yeo Ban Keng, Wee Keng Hoe, Ong Hood Hin, Ngo Yam Cheang, Lee Chim Teck, Lim Kian Beng, Lim Tek Wee, G.
