Khoo Heng-Neo and Seet Tiong-Wah, marriage
Yesterday morning an interesting wedding took place at Teluk Ayer Street when Miss Khoo Heng Neo, the third daughter of the late Mr Khoo Cheng Teong, of Singapore, was united in matrimony to Mr Seet Tiong Wah, the eldest son of Mr Seet Ewe Boon, compradore of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, Singapore. The wedding proccession was a grand sight, Cecil Street and Teluk Ayer Street being crowded with spectators. The Manila Band and a variety of other musicians had been engaged for the occasion, and a large number of red silk banners bearing Chinese characters wishing good luck and prosperity for the happy couple were displayed. The wedding procession was exceptionally imposing and attracted great interest. The wedding presents were numerous, and included several valuable diamonds and jewellery of handsome workmanship.
