CHOA KIM HAY.---On Saturday morning, October 23, 1926, at her residence No. 34, Cornwall St., Madam Choa Kim Hay (Mrs. Lim Chan Eng) aged 67 years, beloved mother of Mr. Lim Hong Siang. She leaves behind one son, five daughters, four sons-in-law and many grand children to mourn her loss. Funeral on Wednesday, October 27, at 10 a.m. from ehr residence to Seah Lim Teong Cemetery, Alexandra Road. [The Straits Times, 23 October 1926, Page 7]
