The death of Mr Cheah Phee Ee took place at his residence 69 Prangin Lane, Penang, on Thursday morning last. He had been ailing for two months. The late Mr Cheah Phee Ee, who was 46 years og age, hailed from a well-known Chinese family in Penang and leaves, besides his wife, eight sons and two daughters. Besides being President of the Min Sin Seah, the deceased was a committee member of the Penang Rubber Exchange and hon. secretary of the Philomatic Union, Chung Ling High School Union and the Tong Sean School Union. He was also on the committee of the Cheang Chew Hoay Kuan, the Fukien Girls' School, the Chung Ling High School, the Poay Sit School Union, the Tong Sean School, the Poh Hu Seah and the Hokkien Cemetery.
