Au Nai-Ming and Chan Yok Ngan, marriage
A pretty wedding was celebrated in the Ipoh Town Hall, the contracting parties being Mr. Au Nai Ming, the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Au Kong of Ipoh, and Miss Chan Yok Ngan, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chan Tat Cho of Kampar. The ceremony was in accordance with the reform style. The bride wore a white Chinese silk coat and a gown and was attended by Miss Chan Yok Thong, her younger sister, as flower girl. The Chinese Consul-General, presided, Messrs. Yong Sau Nam, Lee Ah Chee and Kok Ah Kit acted as sponsors.--T.O.M.
