Tan Joo Quee and Lim Kok Beng, Marriage 9 September 1934, Singapore

Mr. Lim Kok Beng And Miss Tan Joo Quee.

Before Dr. Phillip K. C. Tyau (Consul-General for China in Singapore), the wedding took place yesterday of Mr. Lim Kok Beng, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Lim Kim Tian and Miss Tan Joo Quee, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Chin Hong.

The ceremony was at the Kui Leong Tong, Cantonment Road, Singapore, where a reception, attended by a large number of guests, was afterwards held.

The bride was attended by the two young sisters of the bridegroom, Miss Lim Soon Ai and Miss Lim Geok Lian. Mr. Koh Eng Hoe acted as best man.

Among those present were:

Dr. Phillip K. C. Tyau (Consul General for China), Mr. Tan Ean Kiam, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Tan, Mr. Lim Keng Lian, Mr. Lim Bock Kee, Mr. Aw Boon Parr, Mr. Oh Sian Guan, Mr. Yap Twee, Mr. Lim Kee Cheok and Mr. T. S. Kung.
