Penang. Sun. Mr Cheah Yean Soon, 87, "grand old man" of the Cheah clan in Penang, was buried yesterday at Mount Erskine. Mr Cheah, a trustee of the Cheah Kongsi and several other organisations, died last Tuesday. [The Straits Times, 30 April 1956, Page 4]
