Chung Poh-Len and Lee Tun-Cheong, marriage, Kuala Lumpur, 1927
The marriage took place on Monday, at Kuala Lumpur, of Mr Lee Tun Cheong (otherwise Lee Tun Koo), younger brother of Mr Lee Quee Cheong, and Miss Chung Poh Len, only daughter of the wekk-known Perak miner, Mr Chung Yin Loon, and Mrs Chung Yin Loon. The bride, richly attired in silk and satin, looked very charming. In the evening about four hundred guests were entertained at dinner at the Sun Seng Kee Hotel. Chung Ching-Kim and Lam Hor-Tong, marriage 11 May 1918
The engagement is announced of Mr. Lam Hor Tong, (cashier of the Eastern Trading Company) brother of Mr. Lam Hor Cheong, son of the late Lam Ah Kai, to Miss Chung Ching Kim, second daughter of Mr. Chung Thye Chong and grand-daughter of the late Capt. Chung Keng Quee of Penang and Perak. The wedding is to take place in Penang on May 11, says the Straits Echo. [The Straits Times, 5 April 1918, Page 8]
