Wu Lien-Teh aka Ngoh Lien Tuck, death 22 January 1960, Penang

Penang Fri. --- The Penang Free School --- Malaya's oldest school, founded in 1816 --- today observed a half-holiday as a mark of respect for the late Dr Wu Lien-Teh one of its most distinguised "old boys" who died suddenly in his new Penang home at Chor Sin Kheng Road, Ayer Itam, yesterday.  The funeral will be held on Monday for cremation at Batu Gantong.
