Mrs. Tai Poh Hock, death 7 September 1968, Penang

Penang, Sat. --- A Penang septugenerian, Mrs. Tai Poh Hock, died in her Lorong Jelutong home yesterday. Mrs. Tai left two sons, Mr Tai Yen Chuan, principal of Gajah Berang Secondary English School in Malacca and Dr Tai Yen Hooi, principal dental officer of Negri Sembilan, three daughters and many grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. next Thursday for burial at Mount Erskine cemetery. [The Straits Times, 8 September 1968, Page 7]
