The engagement is announced on 31st May 1952 of Dr Loke Tai Pooi, youngest son of Mrs. Loke Looi Chiew and the late Mr. Loke Looi Chiew, with Miss Elsie Foo Pek Ying, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Foo Meow Chin eldest grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Choo Kia Penag and the late Mr. and Mrs. Foo Choo Choon.
