Chia Giok Kiat (Mrs. Lim Saing), death September 1908

The funeral of the late Mrs. Lim Saing (nee Chia Giok Kiat Neoh), whose death occurred at 40, Muntri Street Penang, on Monday of last week, was to take place, in the "reform" style, on Sunday morning, at Mount Erskine, Penang. The deceased, who was the mother of the late Mr. Lim Kek Chuan, was about 76 years of age, and left a large family, representing several generations, to mourn her loss.
