Yeap Chor Ee, death 25 May 1952, Penang

The death occurred at 5 a.m. 25th May, 1952 at his residence "Homestead" Penang, of Towkay Yeap Chor Ee, at the age of 88. He leaves behind his widow, Madam Lee Cheng Kin, four sons Messrs. Lean Seng (of Singapore), Kim Hoe, Hock Hoe and Hock Hin, two daughters, Mrs Goh Hock Siew and Miss Kim See, one son-in-law Mr Lim Teck Lye (of Singapore), six daughters-in-law, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place on Sunday, 1st June 1952, at 10.00 a.m. from"Homestead" for burial at own estate in Green Lane. The route is as follows:- Northam Road, Transfer Road, Sri Bahari Road, Penang Road, Chulia Street, Pitt Street,China Street, Beach Street, Malay Street and Carnavon Street (Circus).
