Mrs. Khoo Hong Tat, death July 1951

Cabled news has been received in Penang of the sudden death in Scotland yesterday of Mrs. Khoo Hong Tat, prominent Penang resident, who flew to the United Kingdom on June 27 to attend the Festival of Britain. Arrangements are being made for the body to be cremated in Scotland. The ashes may then be flown out for burial in Penang. [The Straits Times, 14 July 1951, Page 7]
