Penang, May 24. A wedding forging a link between two well-known Penang Chinese families was solemnised at the Chinese Town Hall today between Mr. Choong Min Fatt, secretary of the Chinese Consulate, and Miss Por Joo Yeok. Mr. Choong Min Fatt is the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Choong Yew Meng, and Miss Por Joo Yeok is a daughter of the late Mr. Por Yam Hong and Mrs. Por Yam Hong. Mr. Lim Seng Kim, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Lim Chooi Chuan, and a Penang State cricketer, was married to Miss Khoo Suan See, only daughter of Mr. Khoo Thean Teik, at the Lim Kongsi, Beach Street, Penang, on Saturday.
