DEATH. Mrs. Chia Eng Say nee Oei Beng Guat passed away peacefully at her residence No. 207, Marine Parade, Singaporem at 2.15 a.m. on 25th August, 1941. She leaves behind 9 sons, 14 daughters, 7 sons-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law, and 26 grandchildren to mourn her loss. Deeply regretted. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Sundday, 31st August, 1941. DEATH. CHOA. Mr. Choa Eng Wan, aged 54, passed away at 12 noon on Saturday the 18th of October 1941 at his residence, No 37 Killiney Road. Kam Peng Huat, aged 60 passed away peacefully at his residence No 32-B Meyer Road on Monday 28th July 1941. He leaves behind him five sons, Kam Gim Hock (Jimmy), Gim Lock, Hock Hye (John), Gim Siew and Gim Chuan, 5 daughters, Mrs Tan Puan Swee, Mrs Ong Seow Kee and Mrs Yap Kheng Hoe and Misses Poh Lian and Poh Kin, 3 sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law Mrs Jimmy Kam, one niece, Mrs Yeo Beng Swee and several grandchildren to mourn his loss. Ong Boon-Tat, death

Mr. Ong Boon Tat, J. P. passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, Singapore, at 11.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 8th July 1941, aged 54. He left two widows, four sons (Tiang Wee, Tiang Guan, Tiang Choon and Tiang Hin) three daughters (Lim Neo, Kwai Kheng and Kwai Yong). His brother Mr. Ong Peng Hock, two sons-in-law (Tan Gim Yang and Liu Yoke Lin) two daughters-in-law (Mrs. T. W. Ong and Mrs. Ong Tiang Guan)  to mourn his loss. Deeply regretted. Lim Seng-Khoon, death

Mr. Lim Seng Khoon, aged 66, passed away peacefully at his residence at 483-3 Upper Serangoon Road on Friday morning. He leaves behind a widow, eight sons, two daughters, several grand and great grandchildren.
