A grand Hindu wedding has been celebrated at Penang the contracting parties being B. Nadaraja Pillay of Tanjore and Kalyance Sundariammal, daughter of Mr. N. Subbaraya Pillay, Proprietor, I.C.A. School, Penang. The house was profusely decorated and a large number of friends, including members of the Penang Hindu Sabha, attended. The wedding was conducted by the Priest of Mariamman Temple.
